Not ready for a side? About 25 lb of beef — 5 lb roasts, 5 lb stewing beef, 15 lb ground beef. Vacuum-sealed and frozen, it fits above the fridge. No cut sheet, no chest freezer needed.

At Loblaws this much would run about $293.00 — you save about $94.00 (32%).

Pickup at the market is free; neighbourhood drop point $10.00; home delivery $30.00.

Fees, plainly

What's on top of the beef

  • Breakdown fee — $100.00 per side. Covers cutting, wrapping and labelling. A quarter pays half; in a share pool it's split equally among the shares.
  • Free pickup at the market. Book a window at St. Lawrence Market and carry it home — no fee.
  • Neighbourhood drop point — $10.00. We meet you at a set spot in your neighbourhood on delivery day.
  • Home delivery — $30.00 flat per address. Delivered frozen across Toronto and most of the GTA.
  • Take-home yield. Expect roughly 60–70% of hanging weight as packaged meat once bone and trim come off.

What's in a typical side

A 400 lb side, cut a standard way

Exact yields depend on your cut sheet — choose more steaks and you'll get less ground beef, and vice versa. Share boxes get a proportional slice of this mix. Soup and marrow bones are included free; soup bones carry no retail value in our comparison.
